At the core of Body & Simplicity.’s products are active ingredients derived from flowers and herbs found in Baltic meadows and forests. The unique natural environment of the Baltic region, with its brief northern summers, forces plants to concentrate their flowering power into a shorter time frame for pollination by bees. Consequently, these plants are rich in active ingredients at harvest time as they adapt to harsh climates.

1. After adhering to the guidelines from ingredient suppliers regarding optimal usage and concentration, we initiate the formulation process. This may involve testing hundreds of samples to determine the most effective formula.
2. We are committed to cruelty-free beauty, therefore we never conduct tests on animals. Instead, volunteer testers provide feedback about their skin’s response and give a subjective assessment – these factors help us refine our formulas.
3. Once a product is developed, it’s tested in a lab where its physical and chemical properties are analyzed for stability, shelf life determination, as well as establishing storage standards.
4. As per legal requirements, each product is evaluated by an accredited chemist for safety and consistency. Additionally, we send our products to external labs to verify that selected preservatives remain effective throughout their lifespan.For every batch produced, we examine its physical and chemical attributes ensuring consistency with the approved laboratory version.

The specific composition varies from formula to formula, so refer to the product description for precise information.

However, generally in a certified natural formula, at least 95% of all ingredients are natural.In contrast, an organic certified formula must contain at least 95% natural ingredients and a minimum of 10% that come from organic farming.

Moreover, out of all plant-based components in this type of formula, 95% should be organically sourced.

Most Body & Simplicity products are vegan, except for some that include lanolin and beeswax.

Our entire product range is ECOCERT certified, meaning the lanolin and beeswax used in our formulas adhere to strict regulations.

From sheep rearing and beekeeping to ingredient extraction, each process is carefully supervised to prevent any harm to animals.

All products from Body & Simplicity are made with clean, safe ingredients.

However, they haven’t been specifically tested on pregnant or nursing women.

We advise those who are pregnant or breastfeeding to consult their doctor about any concerns by checking the product’s ingredient list.

You can be sure that all Body & Simplicity. products are free from parabens, mineral oils, silicones, PEG, chemical UV filters, microplastics, synthetic fragrances, artificial colourants and other questionable ingredients.

Every alcohol isn’t the same, and not all are harmful to the skin.

We’ve meticulously assessed each ingredient in our formulas for safety.

To determine if a product contains alcohol or its derivatives, please refer to the INCI ingredient list for each item.

However, most products may contain traces of alcohol as it is commonly used in extracting plant components (except in oil-based products).

Even if there’s no mention of alcohol or its derivatives on the INCI list, we cannot guarantee that our products are entirely free from it.

We do not add palm oil to our formulas as a separate ingredient, however, palm oil derivatives may be part of another ingredient and are present in most products (for example, palmitic acid), although in a very low concentration.

All ingredients containing palm oil derivatives are RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certified, which means that plantations are cultivated using sustainable methods.
